The official One Piece Mugiwara Store opened at Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore in September 2025 — the franchise's regional flagship for Southeast Asia. AID Group holds an indirect economic interest through one of its operating subsidiaries; the store is run by the franchise's appointed regional operator under licence from the Japanese rights holders.
The store sits inside Jewel, the Safdie-designed retail and garden complex that anchors Changi Airport's central terminal cluster. It carries the full official One Piece merchandise range — apparel, figures, collectibles, food and beverage tie-ins — alongside Singapore-exclusive limited editions developed in partnership with the IP rights holders.
For AID, the position aligns with the Media pillar (M in the AMNIP framework) — sitting alongside REMOW, HuntMobi, Stargirl, Lucky Dramas, and Ani-Eyes. "We have operated upstream of content for years — distribution, advertising, production," Kelvin Wu noted. "Retail is the natural downstream extension; where Japanese IP meets the world physically, we want indirect economic exposure even where we don't operate the storefront directly."
